Wine type: 100% Primitivo
Training system: old bush vines and vines cultivated using the spurred cordon system; 4,000 plants per hectare.
Soil: medium-texture calcareous clay soils.
Production: 50 hl/ha.
Production techniques: manual harvesting of wine grapes in boxes. Grape skin maceration with must for 10-12 days. Wine ageing takes place in stainless steel tanks for at least 12 months; maturation in bottle for at least 6 months. No wood at all is used.
Style: dry Red.
Alcohol by volume: 14%
Tasting Note: Deep ruby red colour with garnet tinges. Elegant aromas of plum, ripe cherry and plum, accompanied by notes of thyme, tobacco and liquorice. Full, balanced and warm flavour, tempered with velvety tannins and juicy freshness. Long and persistent finish.
