Tenute Rubino

Spumante Metodo Charmat

The production methods of these wines are unique for interpreting the evolution of consumption and reveal an original versatility of some national and ancient vines. Salende, Oltremé and Libens are the Tenute Rubino labels that best meet the trends of a different drinking.

Colour: subtle and delicate yellow, with clear and brilliant greenish tinges.

Bouquet: freshness, sapidity and intensity prevail, with discernible notes of elderberry, broom, litchi, green apple, almond flowers and white pepper elevated by the foam.

Taste: fresh, balanced and intense, with a good acidity well integrated with the fine and persistent foam; it is harmonic and coherent with the nose.

Characteristics: intriguing and with a strong personality, it is a rich, fascinating and dynamic wine; it acidic finish makes it particularly fresh and pleasant.

The name of this Rosé Extra Dry ANTOROS Sparkling Wine comes from the fusion of the names of Antonio and Rosanna, owners of Cantine Cosimo Taurino, where the word Toro, the symbol of the company, derives from the union of the two. Obtained from Negroamaro grapes that identify the territory, it is great as aperitif.

A broad project dedicated to classic method sparkling wines. Tenute Rubino wants the customer to experience the sparkling vocation of some indigenous grape varieties of Salento. It starts with a precious and classy rosé: Sumaré aged 24 months, made from an early harvest of Susumaniello grapes, grown in the Jaddico estate.

Colour: pale and soft salmon pink with fine persistent perlage.

Nosenotes of red berry fruit, pomegranates, raspberries and cherries stand out, fresh with light scents that recall bread crust.

Palate: elegant, savoury, intense and balanced, coherent with the olfactory perceptions. A long and persistent taste.

Pairings: tagliolini with lobster, linguine with clams and tomatoes, fried seafood, mullet or salmon carpaccio, various interpretations of scorpion fish, homegrown vegetable tempura, remarkable with fruit and however to share in many different occasions.
