Tormaresca
2019
Negroamaro 100% Selected from the vineyards of the Maime estate in San Pietro Vernotico (province of Brindisi).
The weather of the 2015 growing season was decidedly “Mediterranean”, marked as it was by a springtime of regular temperatures and humidity and then a decidedly hot and dry summer.
The excellent balance between vegetation and grapes in our vineyards led, nonetheless, to a proper and sustained growth of the vines and ripening of the fruit, to the point that the Negroamaro harvest took place during the first week of September, in line with the historic pattern of our estate.

Characterized by extensive flat areas and modest hilly
reliefs, the Salento region is geologically constituted by a calcareous structure of medium texture.
